Unfiltered Evenings

What This is and what to expect

What This Is

These are simple, acoustic-centered gatherings built around:

Music

Story

Conversation

Honest faith

The hope that no one is beyond grace

No stage. No spotlight. No pressure.

These evenings make room for honest conversations about faith, recovery, relationships, struggle, and what it means to flourish—not simply exist—in the day-to-day.

At the heart of it all is what we call Theology in Work Boots: a faith rooted in Jesus that meets us in ordinary life, not only on Sunday mornings. We believe God is present in our questions, our struggles, our healing, and the stories we are still learning how to tell.

You don’t have to share our beliefs, have everything figured out, or adopt a label to belong in the room. These gatherings are open to people of faith, people with questions, and people who are simply curious.

Just real people sharing a space for an evening.

What to Expect

Each gathering is a little different, but most include:

Live acoustic music—original songs and a few familiar ones

A short, honest story or reflection

Space to listen, think, and breathe

Open, informal conversation and connection afterward

You can participate as much—or as little—as you want.

No one will be put on the spot.
No one will be asked to label themselves.
No one will be pressured to share or believe something they aren’t ready to claim.

Come as you are. Bring your questions, your story, or simply a willingness to listen.
